Enhabit Home Health & Hospice (Enhabit, Inc.) is a Dallas-based provider of home health and hospice care, with 251 home health and 117 hospice locations (368 in 35 states) and about 10,800 employees at end-2025. Founded in 1998, it was a segment of Encompass Health until its July 2022 spin-off and NYSE listing, and on May 15, 2026 it was taken private by private equity firm Kinderhook Industries for $13.80 per share. Dale Clift has been president and CEO since May 2026, succeeding Barb Jacobsmeyer.
